George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), located about 23 miles north of Downtown Houston, is the flagship and an anchor of international air travel. Serving as a major hub with 25 passenger airlines, it offers non-stop flights to over 180 destinations. In 2023, it accommodated more than 46.2 million passengers, reinforcing its status as a key player in global and domestic travel.
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is conveniently located about 7 miles south of Downtown Houston. Serving as a hub for 7 passenger airlines, it offers flights to over 81 destinations. In 2023, the airport handled more than 13.9 million passengers, reflecting its role as a major travel gateway for the region.
Ellington Airport (EFD) / Houston Spaceport is situated about 15 miles south of Downtown Houston. This facility supports operations for the U.S. military, NASA, and various general aviation tenants. It is also home to the nation’s 10th licensed commercial spaceport, making Houston Spaceport a key hub for aerospace innovation and advancement.
